Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Little Friends, Inc. as a key member of the Adult Day Services department.

This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals in our programs, including evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation.

Key duties include:

  • Communicating effectively with staff, families, and individuals in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining knowledge of and adhering to Little Friends, Inc./Spectrum Vocational Services policies and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, including assessments, goal-setting, and progress monitoring.
  • Providing direct services to individuals on their caseload, as needed.
  • Completing necessary documentation, including DHS 520 applications and SOAP notes.
  • Collaborating with Program Managers and QIDPs to ensure services align with Personal Plans/Implementation Strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including billing hours and monthly ROCs submissions.
  • Staying up-to-date with professional credentials and maintaining required paperwork/documentation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy, with authorization to practice in Illinois.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
  • The capacity to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
