Novant Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating ultrasound equipment. A strong understanding of examination demographics is essential for this role.

All Novant Health team members are responsible for creating a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm". As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering remarkable patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication and teamwork.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
- Operate ultrasound equipment with precision and attention to detail to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred. Graduation from an ARRT-approved program or CAAHEP-recognized sonography program is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in sonography is required.
- Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARDMS in three specialties, including vascular technology, pediatric sonography, or obstetrics and gynecology. Additionally, state licensure is necessary.
This position requires a strong foundation in medical imaging principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to attract top talent in the field.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. The exact compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications and performance.
