We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team at Foundation Partners Group, a pioneering company revolutionizing the funeral industry with cutting-edge technology and compassionate care.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide vital support to our managers, team members, and client families, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional service delivery.

  • Compassionate Communicator: Handle phone calls and inquiries with empathy and professionalism, interacting with families and directing them accordingly.
  • Technology Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, company software programs, email, social media, and online portals, with a focus on updating our funeral home website as needed.
  • Clear Expression: Possess strong communication and grammatical skills, with the ability to proof work and ensure accuracy.
  • Meticulous Attention: Monitor accounts and financials, close accounts when necessary, and complete product inventory.
  • Follow-through: Ensure the timely execution of funeral service delivery items, such as cremation permitting, death certificate filing, and other documentation.
  • Preparation Expert: Maintain a tidy and organized office area, take responsibility for inventory, and reorder office supplies as needed.
  • Collaborative Partner: Participate in weekly updates with supervisors to share resources and ideas, and complete monthly and quarterly financial and administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of work experience in a small business office environment, preferably in the funeral industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to use and learn multiple computer software, systems, and office equipment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes
