Job Summary

BYD America is seeking a highly skilled Rework Technician to join our team. As a Rework Technician, you will be responsible for performing commission work on the ESS according to established processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble each stage of the ESS according to processes.
  • Provide service and rework to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose errors and communicate with the team to determine the best solution.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Use measuring tools and equipment to ensure accurate installations.
  • Perform drilling and handling of materials such as fiberglass, plastics, and aluminum.
  • Install and repair cooling systems.
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures and wear proper PPE.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of environments.
Work Environment

The work environment is typically loud, and you will be required to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
