Role Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students at one of our partner charter schools in the Cincinnati area.

Our Process:

  1. Qualified applicants will be invited to meet with our team to discuss our process and the support we provide.
  2. We will work with you to match you to schools that align with your preferences, including grade levels and eligibilities.
  3. You will have the opportunity to interview with our school partners to discuss caseloads, school culture, and specific job requirements.

Clinical Support:

  • We offer regular bi-weekly team meetings with all SLPs on our team.
  • You will receive one-on-one support from our Clinical Support Director.
  • We provide a generous materials stipend for the school year.
  • You will be reimbursed for 100% of your ASHA dues and licensure fees.
  • We offer FREE professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate student speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans.
  2. Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs.
  3. Conduct assessments, analyze results, and create reports to identify student strengths and concerns.
  4. Stay current with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education.
  5. Create an effective learning environment using efficient process management strategies.
  6. Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings.
  7. Develop treatment plans with instructional staff that are strength-based and child-centered.
  8. Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines.
  9. Assist teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid OH SLP license.
  • ODE Professional Pupil Services License (School Speech-Language Pathologist).
  • Prior experience in pediatrics/school settings is preferred.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000
