Job Summary:

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op, you will develop and enhance manufacturing processes through the study of products and manufacturing methods. You will provide top-tier engineering and manufacturing support to ensure timely and cost-effective hardware delivery with superior performance and reliability that surpass customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester).
  • Improve production cell layouts.
  • CAD facilities layouts to reflect new equipment.
  • Implement lean principles.
  • Create tooling.
  • Support the manufacturing floor with process changes.
What You Will Learn:
  • Aerospace principles for tooling manufacture.
  • Presentation and communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
Requirements:
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Course or Training in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Problem-Solving Methodologies.
  • Course or Training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
