Manufacturing Engineer Co-op Position

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op, you will develop and enhance manufacturing processes through the study of products and manufacturing methods. You will provide top-tier engineering and manufacturing support to ensure timely and cost-effective hardware delivery with superior performance and reliability that surpass customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester).
- Improve production cell layouts.
- CAD facilities layouts to reflect new equipment.
- Implement lean principles.
- Create tooling.
- Support the manufacturing floor with process changes.
- Aerospace principles for tooling manufacture.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Project management skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering.
- Course or Training in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Problem-Solving Methodologies.
- Course or Training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
