Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at WellStar Cobb Hospital. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients with acute injuries and illnesses.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing and treating a variety of medical conditions, administering medication, and performing various procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make quick decisions in fast-paced emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher, with current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room setting, with a strong focus on critical care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $71,400, based on national averages and location-specific factors.
