Job Summary

The Psychiatric Nurse Specialist will serve as a leader of the healthcare team, establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. You'll collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care that promote optimal health. Utilizing best scientific evidence and compassion, you'll assist patients in navigating their health journeys and accept responsibility for the management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care and experience in every dimension, every time.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
  • Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journeys.
  • Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of relevant experience, preferred.
  • NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire, required.

Location

This position is located in NC-Charlotte and reports to the Adolescent Psych department at Presbyterian Medical Center.

Job Type

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
