Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Samaritan Healthcare. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients to determine their respiratory care needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' respiratory status and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy respiratory habits and disease management.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Practitioner education program.
  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current BLS (Healthcare Provider Level), ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams and patients.
