Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need.

The position involves conducting comprehensive psychological and psychosocial evaluations for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Our goal is to provide clients with the necessary clinical materials to support their eligibility determination for state services through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). We work closely with children and their parents who are involved in the NYS Foster Care program, promoting collaboration and cooperation between family members and care providers.

To be successful in this role, you will need to administer a range of standardized assessments, including the Weschler Series of Intelligence tests, Stanford Binet, Vineland, and/or ABAS. Your expertise and professionalism will help us deliver high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each client.

We offer a competitive salary for this position, which is estimated at $85,000 per year, based on national averages and the level of experience required. This role requires:

  • Advanced degree in psychology or related field
  • Licensure as a psychologist in New York State
  • Proven experience in child development assessment and intervention
