Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is a 370-bed hospital located in downtown San Antonio, offering a wide range of services including heart and cancer care, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, sleep disorder evaluation, and the largest emergency room in downtown San Antonio. We are home to the Methodist Weight Loss Center and have been designated an American Society for Metabolic Surgery Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working days from 7a-7p with rotating weekends. A relocation bonus may be available for the right candidate.

Job Summary and Qualifications
  • A Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • A Registered Nurse Texas State License or Compact State License is required.
  • 1-2 years of medical telemetry or med-surg/ortho/PCU acute care nursing experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to provide patient-centered care, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
