At Mj3 Partners, Inc., we are seeking a skilled High-Performance Embedded Systems Developer to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in designing and developing active RF systems for cutting-edge products. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-performance solutions that meet the demands of our fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software, firmware, and hardware components within small teams
  • Develop a system-level understanding of all design tasks and contribute to system architecture and internal tooling
  • Learn and develop new skillsets with guidance from mentors and peers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; master's degree preferred
  • Experience architecting, developing, and deploying embedded firmware within a real-time operating system (RTOS)
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
  • Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and assembly
  • Proficiency in technical programming languages such as Python
  • Proficiency with common test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or functional equivalent
  • Altium or LTSpice
  • Experience with RF test equipment including phase noise analyzer, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and power meters
