As a registered nurse, your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying changes in patient status, and promptly reporting these to medical providers. You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patient records. Additionally, you will administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action in the event of unintended medication responses. Your exceptional care will be characterized by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them effectively. You will also educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology. You must possess basic cardiac life support certification within 30 days of employment start date and hold an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in nursing.
