Job Summary

Polyglass USA is seeking a highly skilled Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at our Hazleton, PA plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials into and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote health, safety, and environmental regulations by adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including receiving and inspecting goods, and shipping products to customers.
  • Support the shipment of products produced and the receipt of goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • AS-400 or other enterprise-wide system experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a production environment desired.
Work Environment

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be located at the Hazleton, PA plant. The work environment will include moderate dust, moderate noise, automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment, hot and cold climates, and the need to work around hot asphalt tanks, lines, and pumps constantly.

Physical Requirements
  • Lifting up to 60 lbs.; assisted lifting up to 120 lbs.
  • Visual Acuity (including color perception).
  • Good Hearing.
