About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at ASR International in Hauppauge, NY.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with our opportunity and proposal team to develop pre- and post-RFP proposal activities. They will analyze IT/Cybersecurity related RFP's and SOWs to determine feasibility and perform market research of IT and Cybersecurity opportunities. This role requires strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements on a federal or local level and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead proposal section writing, authoring original content using interview and research techniques.
  • Analyze Past Performance to determine IT touchpoints and applicability to future requirements.
  • Stay up to date on industry and market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify innovative business opportunities.
  • Prepare IT/Cyber Security future opportunities list highlighting must bid opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (5+ years of IT or Cybersecurity experience in lieu of degree).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with NIST Cyber Security standards.
  • Experience with DoD contracts preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Adobe.
Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Our office is located in Hauppauge, NY, and we provide a flexible work schedule and Paid Holidays.
