Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurology Care Specialist to join our team at Winchester Neurological Consultants, Inc. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with our physicians to provide exceptional patient care and education.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and establish diagnoses for common short-term and chronic health problems.
  • Order, perform, and interpret laboratory data and diagnostic procedures, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Counsel patients on health-related issues, including medication administration, health risk reduction, and stress management.
  • Refer patients to other healthcare providers and resources as necessary.
  • Provide initial emergency assessment and care until physician assistance is available.
  • Document patient information effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in practice-based research and attend community events.
Qualifications
  • Master's level Family Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited institution and active Virginia license.
  • Active DEA license and current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Lifesaving (BLS) certificate.
