Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Plastic Surgery team in Manhattan. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, coordinate care, and assure the provision of sound medical knowledge and pertinent standards of care.
This role requires a Physician Assistant with surgical experience, preferably in Plastic Surgery. The candidate will work collaboratively with the attending physician to maintain timely and appropriate communication with family members, house staff, and other disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients
- Coordinate care and assure the provision of sound medical knowledge and pertinent standards of care
- Work collaboratively with the attending physician to maintain timely and appropriate communication
- Develop and implement the therapeutic plan of care for a group of patients
- Ensure communication with family members and other disciplines
Requirements:
- Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree (BA-PA)
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License
- NCCPA Board Certification
- BLs or ACLS, PALS, NRP Provider (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) NALS per delineation of privileges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
