Job Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive or Client Relationship Manager to join our dynamic insurance team at APR.

This role involves both servicing and solicitation activities, with a focus on managing a mid-market book of business and leading a dedicated service team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and Solicitation: Independently manage client services and maintain relationships with minimal oversight from Producers, acting as a primary agent for assigned accounts.
  • Team Leadership: Direct a service team to manage a mid-market book of business effectively, ensuring high-quality client management and business growth.
  • Renewal Management: Analyze and present renewal options to clients, selling renewal business and additional coverage lines, participating in interviews and responding to RFPs.
  • Client Acquisition: Promote various services offered by our agency through tailored Producer Service Proposals, providing expert analysis and recommendations on clients' existing coverage plans.
  • Carrier Selection: Select carriers for solicitation, negotiating beneficial terms and premiums, addressing and resolving client inquiries, including benefits and claims issues.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the insurance field.
  • Designations: Designations such as CIC, CISR, CSRM, or AAI are a plus.
Skills:
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Teamwork: Teamwork-oriented mindset, proficient in planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Technology: Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, AMS360 or Applied TAM/EPIC.
Salary Context:

The national average salary for similar roles ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, excluding bonuses or benefits. The offered base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, certifications, education, and internal equity and market data.
