We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at River Ridge Neurorehabilitation Center. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to positive clinical outcomes.

About the Role:

  • Provide efficient and effective nursing care to residents, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition to ensure timely interventions.
  • Contribute to comprehensive nursing assessments and care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or pending licensure.
  • Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center.
