Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Facilities Maintainer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our medical facilities, promoting a healthy environment for employees and visitors.

About the Role

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of $35,400 - $43,800, based on a 40-hour workweek and $17.50/hour wage. As a Medical Facilities Maintainer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect various areas of the facility, including dusting and sanitizing furniture and equipment, washing windows and walls, sweeping and refinishing floors, and vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
  • Restock restrooms, replace light bulbs, and report any necessary repairs or maintenance issues.
  • Remove waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash containers, changing sharps containers, and transporting solid and hazardous waste to compactors.
  • Recycle materials and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is preferred.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and complete work efficiently is essential.
  • Must be able to operate cleaning equipment and establish effective working relationships with colleagues.
