About the Role
  • Duration: Ongoing, 24 hours per week
  • Shift: Flexible, 8 hours per day

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, ensuring seamless interactions with our pharmacy team. Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and processing new prescriptions, including verifying patient information and entering necessary data into our system.
  • Alerting pharmacists to potential issues with prescriptions, such as lacking information or potential allergies.
  • Preparing prescription labels and packaging medications for dispensing.
  • Selling prescriptions and other pharmaceutical merchandise to members, providing correct change and receipts.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our strict safety and security protocols.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and telephone reception skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and transcribe pharmaceutical information.
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
