We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Advocate to join our team at Springwell. As a Senior Advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our elderly clients.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to serving seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will be responsible for investigating reports of abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, and self-neglect, as well as providing short-term case management and making referrals to alleviate substantiated allegations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Develop and implement effective case plans to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
  • Collaborate with clients, their support networks, and other community professionals to provide comprehensive services
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all investigations and case management activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree with two years' experience or Master's degree with one year's experience
  • Prior experience in counseling, case management, crisis intervention, elder services, investigations, or related fields
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A reliable car, current driver's license, and safe driving record
