Facility Inspector

The State of Montana is seeking a highly skilled Facility Inspector to join our team in the Office of Inspector General, Licensure Bureau. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of mental health facilities, youth care facilities, community homes, and other healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct unannounced inspections to assess care provided and determine compliance with state and federal requirements
- Recommend licensing actions and monitor facilities with difficulty meeting minimum compliance requirements
- Provide technical assistance and training to licensed facilities
- Investigate allegations of non-compliance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family and Consumer Sciences, Human Services, Education)
- One year of job-related work experience
- Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
