Regional Business Development Director for Home Health Expansion

Amedisys, a leading home health and hospice company in the U.S., is seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Director to drive growth and expansion in the home health sector.

**About the Role**

As a Regional Business Development Director, you will be responsible for creating and managing sales performance goals for the region, monitoring and directing the business development staffing strategy, and ensuring that the sales team has the necessary training and resources to drive business from physicians, facilities, and other referral sources. You will also create and direct the region's enterprise growth strategy, partnering with healthcare providers to ensure a continuum of care.

**Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and expansion in the home health sector.
* Create and manage sales performance goals for the region, focusing on key performance indicators such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
* Monitor and direct the business development staffing strategy, ensuring that the sales team has the necessary training and resources to drive business from physicians, facilities, and other referral sources.
* Collaborate with the operations team to ensure successful execution of the region's operational growth strategy.
* Function as a member of the executive management team for the region, ensuring that company compliance, performance, and HR guidelines are maintained.
* Evaluate and redirect employee performance as needed, developing employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal training opportunities.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in business and/or management preferred.
* Five years of sales experience, with two years of home health or hospice sales experience.
* One year of supervisory experience within the healthcare industry preferred.
* Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.

**What We Offer**

Amedisys offers a competitive salary range of $125,000.00-$130,000.00, based on location, experience, and performance. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a full benefits package with choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans, paid time off, up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly, and up to $500 in wellness rewards for completing activities during the year. We also offer 401(k) with a company match, family support with infertility treatment coverage, adoption reimbursement, paid parental and family caregiver leave, and a fleet vehicle program and mileage reimbursement.

**Location**

The successful candidate will be based in the Pacific Northwest region, covering the territories of Roseburg, OR INT, Salem, OR INT, Portland, OR, Kennewick, WA INT JV, and King County, WA HHC. The role will require regular travel within the assigned territory, with a minimum of 50% travel time.
