Pasta Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pasta Craftsman to join our dynamic kitchen team at Jupiter, a renowned Italian restaurant in New York's iconic Rockefeller Center.

• Master Pasta Maker: Learn to create fresh pasta by hand every day, utilizing our extruder and sheeter, and develop an in-depth understanding of Italian pasta-making techniques.
• Quality Control Specialist: Maintain high-quality standards for fresh pasta production, drive daily production pars, organize inventory, and track changes in storage conditions that may affect the final product.
• Team Player: Collaborate with other chefs and managers on ergonomics, prep, set-up/break-down, and inventory, sharing experiences and best practices.
• Culinary Expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of our menu and the culinary traditions that inspire us, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
• Ongoing Training: Participate in regular training, education, and tasting sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
