IT Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Professional to join our team at Avatar Managed Services.
Job DescriptionThe IT Support Professional will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance to end-users, ensuring smooth operations for our clients' organizations. They will be responsible for resolving user requests in a timely and professional manner, utilizing strong communication skills to address customer inquiries and concerns.
This position requires someone who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, as well as assist with the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity, as well as strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Provide expert technical support via telephone, email, chat, and remote connections
- Identify and communicate issues clearly to customers, indicating specifics on the issue and resolution
- Create and manage tracking tickets according to Service Desk standard operating procedures
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve computer hardware and software issues
- Execute standard escalation procedures based on issue priority
- At least 1 year of Service Desk Experience required, 2 or more years preferred
- At least 2 years of Customer Service experience required, 3 or more years preferred
- Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows client operating systems
- Strong background in Windows client operating systems, standard desktop applications, and user account management
Our company offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
