Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with expertise in cost estimating for a construction management opening. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
  • Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Cost Estimating:
  • Develop and manage construction cost estimates, utilizing industry-standard software and techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Scheduling:
  • Plan, coordinate, and control construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting client expectations.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular site inspections and monitoring progress to prevent defects and delays.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication among team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Client Relations:
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project partners, providing clear and concise updates on project status and progress.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management and/or general contracting, with a strong background in cost estimating and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using Primavera P6, TXDOT Inspection and Materials Management System (I2MS), ProjectWise, SharePoint, and other industry-standard software.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a registered PE (TX) certification.
  • Certified CCM (Certified Construction Manager) designation, with PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to deliver presentations, reports, and technical documents to various audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
