Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality patient care
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans

Requirements:

  • Current license by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Three years of recent experience in a Special Care Nursery/NICU
