About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in collaborating with leading tech professionals to strengthen and protect our economic, financial, and payments systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product management, stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure a clear understanding of the expected user experience and create scalable design solutions for the product.
  • Conceptualize innovative solutions, create user experience specifications, workflows, and mockups to meet or exceed the needs of users and stakeholders.
  • Partner with other UX designers, UX research, strategists, product managers, product owners, and software engineers to understand user and business needs.
  • Advocate for users in a responsible and effective manner, while providing day-to-day strategic leadership in user experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in Human Computer Interaction, Usability, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Psychology, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • At least four years of experience in human-computer interaction, interaction design, visual design, computer science, computer engineering, or related field designing for web-based applications, websites.
  • Knowledge of markup language HTML/CSS and design systems.
  • Experience in industry wireframing/prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,600 - $104,000 for Senior Level and $87,000 - $119,600 for Expert-Lead Level. We also offer a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 50% monthly in Kansas City, MO.
