About Our Team

We are a dynamic team at Minerva Dairy Inc, focused on delivering high-quality cheese and butter products. As a Process Tech IV, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our butter department.

Job Summary

The Process Tech IV is responsible for implementing the structure of the butter department to meet recipes, GMPs, testing, and quality standards. This position reports directly to and works closely with the Butter Department Head. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with process techs, explaining the 'why' behind butter procedures to ensure exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing butter department structure to meet recipes, GMPs, testing, and quality standards
  • Communicating effectively with process techs on butter procedures
  • Providing ongoing improvement directions to the Butter Department Head to maintain and improve safety and quality
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education and Experience
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing processes
  • Management experience
Skills
  • Mechanical knowledge: machines, tools, design, use, repair, and maintenance
  • Administration and management principles: strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination
  • Production and processing knowledge: raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for effective manufacture and distribution
  • Mathematical skills: arithmetic, percentages, and applications

As a member of our team, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and software, including Hippo - Work Order Portal, Inkjet software for box labeling, Canopy - ERP, and Alchemy - Training portal. You will also receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role.

Location

This position is based in Minerva, OH.

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
