Job Description

Nicholas J. Ryan & Associates, in-house counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join their Business Interruption/Underwriting (BI/UM) team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of insurance defense discovery procedures, litigation processes, and local court rules. Strong communication and technical skills are essential for this role.

The BI/UM team handles a high volume of cases, requiring exceptional time management and organization skills. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting attorneys with file handling, drafting pleadings, and collecting medical records.

Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Paralegal Experience
  • Prior Litigation or Paralegal Experience
  • Paralegal Degree/Certificate/Certification, Medical Training, or Relevant Coursework/Legal Studies Degree
  • Excellent Communication and Technical Skills
Work Environment
