Resource Management Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and executing the resource management process for assigned populations. This includes facilitating scheduling of resources to appropriate client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and other necessary requirements.
You will drive the scheduling process to prepare for future deadlines, balance capacity with open needs, and propose solutions to maximize utilization and drive profitability. Additionally, you will use scheduling tools to forecast hours, track utilization, and monitor overall headcount.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating meetings with Managers and Partners on a weekly basis, providing updates as needed
- Ensuring staff profiles and schedules are accurately maintained in the scheduling database
- Generating and analyzing resource management reports, including availability reports, billable hour forecasts, and actual vs scheduled variance data
- Monitoring chargeable hours, overtime, and travel to ensure work is fairly distributed
- Driving consistency by implementing resource management processes and teaming with personnel to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 5+ years of related experience, preferably within a professional services firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity within a professional environment
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- Ability to manage through competing priorities
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to provide exceptional client service and exhibit a sense of urgency, commitment to quality, and timely completion of duties
- Demonstrated level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
Compensation:
The compensation range for this role is $100,660 to $181,200. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
