At ITS - Integrated Talent Strategies, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality and compliance standards for our fastening solutions. Your expertise in Quality Management Systems and Root Cause Corrective Action will be essential in driving quality improvements and ensuring our supply chain meets the highest aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on their capabilities, quality systems, and adherence to industry standards, conducting regular supplier audits and assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for suppliers, ensuring purchase orders include drawing, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create incoming inspection work instructions and forms, using risk analysis methodologies to determine incoming inspection needs and align inspection techniques with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance, track quality metrics, and drive corrective actions when necessary, ensuring suppliers meet aerospace industry quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Investigate and identify root causes of quality issues, non-conformities, and defects, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their manufacturing processes, product quality, and reliability, providing guidance and support in implementing best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier assessments, quality audits, and corrective actions, preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles within the relevant industry, with essential experience in supplier quality engineering, including auditing suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and driving quality improvements.
