As a GIS Data Analyst at Citian, you'll play a key role in applying and advancing geospatial technology, utilizing expertise in geospatial data types, database management systems, and contributing to the development of GIS and LiDAR solutions.

Expected duties include:

  • Geospatial Analysis: Apply geospatial analysis techniques using tools like ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • LiDAR Applications: Lead the development and optimization of LiDAR applications for transportation planning and system optimization.
  • Database Management: Manage geospatial databases efficiently, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Python and SQL: Utilize proficiency in Python and SQL to support data processing and analysis tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate a keen mind adept at problem-solving, and contribute to the team's success.

Required skills and experience include a Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and 3 years of increasingly technical experience in GIS and LiDAR applications.
