Caregiver PRN Facility Floater Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/Caregiver to join our team as a PRN Facility Floater. As a PRN Facility Floater, you will provide caring assistance with personal hygiene care, safe and healthy environment, and wound care if necessary to clients as assigned. You will be available to cover shifts when the Caregiver is on vacation, sick, or for non-assigned new clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide caring assistance with personal hygiene care, safe and healthy environment, and wound care if necessary to clients as assigned.
  • Be available to cover shifts when the Caregiver is on vacation, sick, or for non-assigned new clients.
  • Work in homes with pets and/or smokers and have valid driver's license and their own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have valid Driver's License, your own reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
  • Must have at least one year of professional caregiver experience preferably with the geriatric population.
  • Must be able to work with pets and smokers in client homes.
  • Must possess moderate computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
  • Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a “team player” dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to be well organized and prioritize effectively.
  • CNA preferred, but not necessary.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:
  • Ability to participate in physical activity.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
  • Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.
  • Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.
