Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Operating Room Coordinator and OR Director, the RN will be responsible for nursing activities related to operative or invasive procedures.
  • The RN will provide guidance to non-licensed personnel and demonstrate knowledge of developmental needs in pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements
  • Education/License:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current Texas Nursing License
    • CPR, ACLS certification, and PALS preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two (2) years of previous OR experience required
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and deal tactfully with patients, families, and employees
    • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing skills
Estimated Salary Range:

$62,500 - $85,000 per year based on location and experience
