Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while providing top-notch vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
  • Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, identifying and communicating additional needed services and repairs.
  • Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
  • Participate in all general store duties, ensuring the store is maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and guest readiness.
  • Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards, including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
  • Test drive vehicles according to Monro's Road Test policy.
  • Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities through timely completion of Monro University training courses and modules.
  • Operate, utilize, and maintain all equipment in a safe manner in accordance with Monro and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Automotive training and certification, such as ASE, are preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are required.
  • Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
