We are seeking a skilled Nursing Development Specialist to join our team at Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our HR manager to provide new hire orientation and evaluate the educational needs of our staff. Your expertise in basic nursing skills, patient assessment, and infection control will be essential in implementing in-service programs and ensuring adherence to applicable required in-service education. You will also serve as Infection Control Nurse, reporting infection control practices to the Infection Control Officer and Administrator. In addition, you will manage and provide required education to the entire staff, including employee health and Hepatitis B vaccinations. **Responsibilities:**
Provide new hire orientation and evaluate educational needs of staff
Implement in-service programs and ensure adherence to required education
Serve as Infection Control Nurse and report infection control practices
Manage and provide required education to staff, including employee health and Hepatitis B vaccinations

**Requirements:**
Licensed RN with knowledge of basic nursing skills
2-4 years of experience as a nurse and 2-4 years of clinical training experience
Expert knowledge of basic nursing skills and a desire to share that knowledge with others
