Job Overview

MILLENNIUMSOFT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Verification Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are committed to enhancing patient and clinical outcomes by transforming parenteral medication preparation and administration. As a key member of our MMS Verification team, you will play a crucial role in identifying innovative solutions to address current and future health care needs in the medication delivery markets.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Define, plan, and lead activities, including test method & measurement system development and validation, fixture design, and testing optimization in support of Design Verification and Design Validation.
  2. Lead and assist teams in Risk Management and creation of risk assessments.
  3. Participate in the planning and execution of technical project work, applying engineering first principles and advanced engineering methods to gain deep understanding of underlying technical issues and propose robust solutions.
  4. Collaborate with Design & Development, Systems Engineering, and Verification Engineering teams to ensure product requirements are testable and measurable.
  5. Create and document novel test methodologies and provide feedback and recommendations for product/design changes.
  6. Resolve technical problems, identify or create solutions using systematic problem-solving and statistical methodologies.
  7. Use DFSS tools throughout the measurement system development process to improve method selection decisions and reduce method development iteration cycle times.
  8. Interface with user experience designers to support design validation activities.
  9. Conduct and encourage frequent formal and informal communication with the team to ensure full engagement and efficient operation.
  10. Actively build on personal skills, expertise, and competencies, ensuring that technical lessons are reviewed, learned, and disseminated.
  11. Ensure compliance with Client quality policies, procedures, and practices, as well as all local, state, federal, and Client safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong technical judgment and extensive technical leadership skills.
  • Ability to build, lead, and guide a team to develop technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated capability of leading R&D projects.
  • Experience guiding team/individuals to develop technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Solid knowledge of engineering first principles.
  • Strong project management, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills to work within tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • Proficient in solid modeling (Pro/E, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • LabVIEW proficiency is a must-have.
  • B.S.: 5+ years of experience in technical area; M.S.: 3+ years of experience in technical area; Ph.D.: 0-2+ years of experience in technical area.
