Medical Assistant Opportunity at Boulder Community Health

Boulder Community Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Take patient histories, vital signs, and thoroughly document in patient charts.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
  • Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments.
  • Perform selected nursing and administrative duties.
  • Perform venipunctures and fingerstick phlebotomy, throat cultures, urinalysis, EKG's, and other laboratory procedures as directed.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a Medical Assistant program preferred, or
  • Colorado LPN license in good standing preferred, or
  • Pass a national Medical Assistant Certification exam preferred.
  • BLS certification required by the end of conditional period.
