Job Summary

This leadership role is responsible for coordinating unit staffing and providing guidance to ensure high-quality patient care in assigned areas.

About the Role

  • Coordinate daily operations, including assigning and directing nursing staff during shifts.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by ensuring adequate resources and supplies are available.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet patient care needs and promote productivity standards.
  • Provide input into hiring, training, and evaluation of staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals to achieve clinical objectives and improve patient outcomes.
  • Address patient complaints and manage concerns through established channels.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care strategies.

Requirements

  • BLS certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
  • At least 1 year of cumulative experience in job-specific field required.
