Job Opportunity: Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Interventional Technologist to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

About the Job

This is a 10-week travel assignment with a competitive pay rate of $24,433.83 - $28,157.20 per week (based on 40 hours/week). The job involves working 10-hour shifts, including occasional evening and weekend duties.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with neurointerventionalists and other healthcare professionals to perform complex neurointerventional procedures, including aneurysm coiling, arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolization, carotid artery stenting, intracranial stenting, and intracranial thrombectomy.
  • Maintain a sterile field, set up equipment, handle and maintain equipment, and inject contrast media as required.
  • Provide basic and advanced life support according to AHA standards under direct supervision of a physician or according to protocol, including cardioversion and defibrillation, starting intravenous lines, CPR, and airway support.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the interventional neuro setting.
  • ARRT or RCIS certification.
  • Acls certification.
  • Familiarity with neuroimaging techniques and procedures.
  • Technical skills in operating neuroimaging equipment, including angiography systems and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) equipment.
