Occupational Therapist

We are one of 56 intermediate school districts in Michigan, serving 19 local districts covering a vast area of the eastern Upper Peninsula. Our mission is to provide exceptional educational services and support to students, families, and staff.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to students with special needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify student strengths and weaknesses
• Developing and implementing individualized plans to promote student learning and independence
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure seamless implementation of student plans

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A valid occupational license/certification approved by the Michigan Department of Education
• Regular and reliable attendance
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations
