Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As a software developer, you will work on innovative projects supporting the U.S. defense and intelligence community partners.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with radar/electro-optical and research scientist experts to solve issues and iterate to improve image product quality.
  • Contribute to automated test and verification software and tools.
  • Participate in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements development, software design, implementation and build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Learn to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology fields. (5 years of professional experience in lieu of degree)
  • Knowledge and capability in at least one programming language (C++, Python, and/or JAVA).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to advance large software development packages by taking on and completing tasks independently.
  • Must be willing to work on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Other language skills: Java, Rust, scripting or similar.
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment.
  • Version control experience in Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
  • Academic or professional experience in radar or electro-optical fields.
  • Work in formal software development methodologies (Agile).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure preferred).
  • Experience writing software implementing algorithms.
  • Desire to learn new technologies.
Location

This position is located on site at Ypsilanti, Michigan. Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical/vision/dental insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid time off, and continuing education benefit up to $25k/year for approved programs.

Estimated Salary

$120,000 per year.
