As a Speech Language Pathologist with Soliant Health in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients in your local community. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working on-site. The caseload details will be discussed during the interview process. As an SLP with Soliant Health, you will work collaboratively with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor and report patient progress, and maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Your experience with AAC devices and knowledge of IEPs will be valuable assets in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other PTs, SLPAs, and OT professionals
  • Monitor and report patient progress
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Alabama licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Experience with AAC devices
  • Knowledgeable regarding IEPs
