Job Overview

Benchmark Human Services is a national leader in providing programs to individuals with disabilities and mental illness. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Neptune, NJ, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others.

About the Role

This position involves assisting developmentally disabled individuals in a group home setting. You will be responsible for recording vital signs, administering medication, and providing personal care. Your duties may also include assisting individuals with doctor appointments and community activities.

Responsibilities
  • Record vital signs such as temperature, weight, and blood pressure
  • Administer medication and provide personal care
  • Assist individuals with doctor appointments and community activities
  • Chart residents' care and treatment measures
  • Function as a liaison and advocate for individuals served
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an active New Jersey Nursing (LPN) license, a valid New Jersey driver's license and auto insurance, and clearance through Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or mental illness is also required.
