Job Overview

Maintain a safe and engaging aquatic environment by providing swimming and water safety skills instruction to diverse groups. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure the well-being of all individuals in the pool area. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing records and reports as needed, as well as performing other duties assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver swimming and water safety programs for various age groups and skill levels;
  • Ensure the safety and accessibility of the pool area for all users;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of program participation and outcomes;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new program initiatives.


Requirements and Qualifications
  • Possess current certification as a Water Safety Instructor from the American Red Cross;
  • Have previous teaching or coaching experience, preferably in an aquatic setting;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.


Compensation and Benefits
Estimated salary: $15.00 per hour. The college offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
