We are seeking a highly skilled PICC Nurse to join our team at St. Bernards Healthcare, working night shifts and weekends.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on a daily basis. This includes inserting PICC lines, maintaining PICC competencies, and performing central line dressing changes on acute care floors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Avoid complications and promote optimal outcomes in patients undergoing PICC insertion and maintenance
  • Provide education to patients and their families on post-procedure care and management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in PICC insertion and management

Requirements:

  • CURRENT licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas
  • Experience with PICC insertion and management, including troubleshooting and complication prevention
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

This is a safety-sensitive position. You will work in a normal hospital environment with exposure to biological hazards. You will frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.

Salary Information:

We offer an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
