Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Systems Engineer to lead internal product development and customer integration and adoption activities. As the ideal candidate, you will apply your expertise to analyze and support sensor systems throughout their lifecycle - from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop algorithms and analysis methods and tools for radar, direction finding, or other surveillance sensor systems.
- System Architecture: Lead the development of system architecture for new hardware designs.
- Design Reviews: Organize and participate in design reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Software, Systems, Digital, and RF engineers to advance overall product capabilities.
- Validation and Verification: Play an active role in the validation and verification of both design and system-level capabilities.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide professional mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of:
- Radar and/or communication systems using software-defined radios, custom hardware, and/or other COTS devices.
- State estimation, data fusion, and Kalman filtering techniques and their implementation in tracking algorithms.
- Sensor performance modeling and simulation.
- Digital signal processing.
- Analytical programming platforms such as MATLAB or Python.
