Job Summary

As a key member of the Rochester Regional Health team, the Nutrition Department Manager will oversee the daily operations of the PACE Center Kitchens, ensuring the highest standards of food service, sanitation, and production area operations. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills, with a focus on providing exceptional nutrition care to all participants.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of Registered Dietitians and Food Service Associates to ensure excellent patient care and customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement programs that promote healthy lifestyles and wellness, in collaboration with the facility's community service plan.
Oversee all aspects of food service, including staffing, sanitation, storage of supplies, food quality, and presentation.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the best nutritional care options for participants.
Operate the department within stated financial guidelines, making decisions that serve the best interest of the customer.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
2 years of leadership experience, with a focus on nutrition care.
Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
Ability to work with frail elderly populations.
